Skylar holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology and recently graduated with her Masters in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. Skylar completed her internship at Lifestance Health, formerly known as Ray of Hope. She is currently pursuing her LPC. Skylar grew up in Jefferson and graduated from Jefferson High School. Skylar is married with two young sons. Skylar enjoys working
with all age groups and implements an integrative approach by accepting her clients in a warm and friendly environment. She encourages her clients to be open and trusting of the emotional and mental process they are going to embark on. Skylar really enjoys working with children and adolescents that struggle with behaviors, anxiety, depression and who may be on the spectrum. She likes to take a
cognitive approach in her counseling.

Courtney was raised in Jefferson and is now raising her family here. A Jeffersonian all her life, she has witnessed many changes, but one thing that remains the same is her love for our city and the people who live in it. Courtney has been married to her husband, Stacey, for nearly 25 years, and they have three children: Cain, Caroline, and Clint.
She attended Jefferson High School, earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Emmanuel University, and completed her Master's degree in Community Counseling at the University of North Georgia in 2003. While in graduate school, she worked as a children's pastor. She then became a stay-at-home mom and provided pro bono counseling. Courtney is currently working toward becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor. She has a Christian worldview and believes it is important for clients to consider their physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. She sees counseling as a calling and is excited to work with clients—young and old—from a variety of backgrounds. Her intention is for clients to feel heard and understood. Courtney wants to walk alongside them to help foster positive changes and support them in reaching their goals.
Ben and Jada Harrison founded Jefferson Counseling in 2017 after both completed a Master's Degree in Professional Counseling at Liberty University. Ben and Jada have been married for over 20 years and are the proud parents of Zoe, Jaden and Zion. Ben and Jada have been a part of the Jefferson community for over 15 years and live right here in Jefferson. Jada was a stay at home mom before starting her career as a Licensed Professional Counselor. Her professional experience includes serving as the Clinical Director at Jefferson Counseling, Clinical Supervisor for a local Community Service Board, Assistant Director of Mental Health for a 3000 bed correctional facility and Director of Addictive Diseases for a local community service board. Jada has a license with the state of Georgia as a Licensed Professional Counselor and has her Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor Certification. Ben has a Doctorate in Worship Studies with a specialization in Pastoral Counseling, a Master's Degree in Professional Counseling, as well as a Master's Degree in Education. Ben is a therapist at Jefferson Counseling, a teacher for the local school system and has served on staff at various churches for over 15 years.
Jade obtained her first undergraduate degree in Social Science and a post-baccalaureate in Early Childhood Education from Mercer University. She then pursued a Master’s in Counseling at Regent University. A resident of Georgia, Jade lives just outside of Jefferson with her husband and two daughters. Passionate about supporting children, teens, and young adults, she brings 17 years of teaching experience and 4 years as a school counselor. Jade specializes in assisting clients with anxiety, self-confidence, emotional regulation, goal setting, and issues related to children and teens of divorce. She excels at building relationships that facilitate the therapeutic process and is currently working towards her LPC under the supervision of Jada Harrison.
Kelsi is a graduate of Southern New Hampshire University with her bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a focus in child development. She is currently perusing her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Heath Counseling. While in school Kelsi has worked as a Registered Behavioral Technician working with children with autism spectrum disorder. Kelsi is looking forward to connecting with clients in a warm and friendly environment.
Courtney Alldredge
Scott earned his undergraduate degree in Psychology from Georgia College and State University, his Masters in Counseling from Augusta State University and completed his Doctorate in education at the University of Georgia in 2017. Scott is from Georgia and lives in Jefferson with his wife, Amber, and their young daughter. Scott enjoys serving people of all ages and backgrounds and has worked in the elementary setting for almost 20 years. Scott strives to help clients reach their social-emotional goals, skills to foster independence, confidence, and increase awareness and happiness. With children, Scott enjoys helping clients with goal setting, increasing self-confidence, making friends, age-appropriate conflict resolution, anxiety, and dealing with bullies. Scott loves working with adult clients as well. Scott is an effective counselor guiding adults with reducing anxiety, navigating life-stage changes, discovering work that matters, and having flourishing relationships.
